From the Front Liner:
The dark sky surrenders its space to the light of a new day. There's a freshness and a freedom in the air that can only be fully appreciated by one who has worn the chains of a prisoner. The journey of life begins for another day with God's grace stretching out as far as the eye can see and beyond.. far beyond. Only the Author of this life knows completely what lies ahead...the mountain tops of joy to be experienced as well as the valleys of sorrow to be endured. To Him there are no surprises but He takes pleasure in filling our lives with them, and all the while His consuming love for those He created keeps Him never more than a heartbeat away. This is the miracle of grace in motion given freely to those who will receive it by faith...this is a life like no other...this is the great adventure!

I Cor. 2:9,10; Eph. 2:4-10
Saddle up your horses
Started out this morning in the usual way
Chasing thoughts inside my head of all I had to do today
Another time around the circle try to make it better than the last
I opened up the Bible and I read ahout me
Said I'd been a prisoner and God's grace had set me free
And somewhere between the pages it hit me like a lightning bolt
I saw a big frontier in front of me and I heard somehody say let's go!
CHORUS
Saddle up your horses we've got a trail to blaze
Through the wild blue yonder of God's amazing grace
Let's follow our leader into the glorious unknown
This is a life like no other oh... this is The Great Adventure! Yeah...
Come on get ready for the ride of your life
Gonna leave long faced religion in a cloud of dust behind
And discover all the new horizons just waiting to be explored
This is what we were created for
(Chorus)
BRIDGE
We'll travel over, over mountains so high
We'll go through valleys below
Still through it all we'll find that
This is the greatest journey that the human heart will ever see
The love of God will take us far beyond our wildest dreams
Yeah... oh saddle up your horses... come on get ready to ride
(Chorus)

Rom. 5:17; Eph. 2:10; Col. 1:16
A gentle breeze was blowing
The air was heavenly sweet-life was so complete
In a picture perfect garden
While the sun went down you could hear the sound
Of a man and woman crying-saying what have we done
We made our choice and now we're dying
And we've got to leave this place and hide from Gods face but this is
CHORUS
Where we belong where you and I were meant to be (from
now on) all along
Made by the Father to live in His love
It is the purpose and plan for the heart of man
This is where we belong
The warm winds of change were blowing
After years and years of hopeless tears
One man became the doorway
That would lead back to the place where life was new
A place just like the garden where we walk and talk with God
The way creation started
Where each heart and soul can come and be whole (this is)
(Chorus)
BRIDGE
Like the stars belong in the sky like a fish belongs in
the water
Just like children you and I belong in the hands of the Father (this is)
(Chorus)
Eph. 5:25-31
I know you've heard me say these words before
But every time I say I love you the words mean something more
I spoke them as a promise right from the start
I said death would he the only thing that could tear us apart
And now that you are standing on the edge of the unknown
I love you means I'll be with you wherever you must go
CHORUS
I will take a heart whose nature is to beat for me alone
And fill it up with you-make all your joy and pain my own
No matter how deep a valley you go through
I will go there with you
And I will give myself to love the way Love gave itself for me
And climb with you to mountain tops or swim a raging sea
To the place where one heart is made from two
I will go there with you
I see it in your tears-you wonder where you are
The wind is growing colder and the sky is growing dark
Though it's something neither of us understands
We can walk through this together if we hold each other's hand
I said for better or worse I'd he with you
So no matter where you're going I will go there too
CHORUS
I will take a heart whose nature is to beat for me alone
And fill it up with you-make all your joy and pain my own
No matter how deep a valley you go through
I will go there with you
BRIDGE
I know sometimes I let you down
But I won't let you go-we'll always be together
(Chorus)
Lk. 23:43; Jn. 14:2-3; Rom. 8:18
Jimmy and Mary were quite a pair back in their younger
days
They met and married in six weeks time and
That was sixty years ago this May
Four kids made a house a home and a love for Jesus kept them strong
Now every morning at eight A. M. Jimmy takes a drive through town
He spends his days at Mary's side
In a home for the old and broken down
With a cane in his lap and a Bible in his hand
He reads her stories about the promised land
And with tears in their eyes they dream of a place
Where everything changes in the light of Jesus' face and
CHORUS
That's paradise... Hey, that's paradise....
When the life breaks through and the old's made new
And the joy will never die, that's paradise
In another corner of this world, met another man named
Jim
Told me how twenty years of running from God
Had finally gotten the best of him
He said all hope was gone and he wanted to die
'Cause what could God do with such a messed up guy
So we talked about Jesus, Gods love and His plan
And when Jim walked away he was a brand new man and
(Chorus)
Now listen,
Well I know the best remains to be seen
In a place that's far beyond our wildest dreams
But until we see heaven we've got Jesus' word
That He'll never leave us and each prayer will be heard
(Chorus)

Heb. 12:2,3; 1 Thess. 5:19
I can still feel the prayers you prayed for me all those
years
And I see now more than ever what a difference they have made
And I can still hear your words spoken from a heart of great concern
Saying keep your eyes on Jesus and love Him more than anything
And I've watched the wind blow hard against you
And I've seen your faith get weakened by the pain
And I want you to know that I will he praying for you to hold on
CHORUS
Don't let the fire die
The flame has been dimmed by the tears that you've cried
But I can still see the spark of His love in your eyes
So don't let the fire, please don't let the fire die
This heavy weight you carry around
Of letting yourself and everybody down
Is pouring water on the passion that used to burn so bright
Well I know you've got your reasons for resentment
And I know it's more than I can understand
So just let me say that I'm gonna be praying for you
To let it all go
CHORUS
Don't let the fire die
The flame has heen dimmed by the tears that you've cried
But I can still see the spark of His love in your eyes
BRIDGE
I'm not praying for the fire to burn the way it did before
'Cause I believe the one who started this flame in your heart
He wants to give you more
So don't let the fire die
(Chorus)

Well normally at this point you'd hear me sing
And I'd be doing that acoustic guitar thing
So by now you're probably wondering what's going on
'Cause this is really starting to sound like one of those rap songs
Well let me tell you what the boy's up to
You see I like rap music and the beat box groove
And sometimes I gotta admit I close all the doors
And wave my arms around and I pace the floor
But then I crack up laughing, I gotta stop
And just face the facts the boy don't hip hop
You see I grew up in a state where the grass is blue
So if it's gonna be believable it's got to b tru
CHORUS
It's got to b tru I've gotta be living what I say I believe
It's got to b true even when nobody but Jesus is watching me
It's got to b tru every single minute of every day
If anybody's ever gonna look at me and say hey it's got to b tru
You hear me saying that it's got to b tru
And now my homeboy Toby wants to talk to you
True check it out I got a next door neighbor
And I can tell he's been watching my behavior
Yo he's heard that I'm a Christian guy
He wants to know if that's the truth or a lie
He's got a list of reasons not to believe
Like doubt, dissolution, hypocrisy
It's gonna take some living proof to break through those walls
Yea, it's got to b tru if he'll believe at all
(Chorus)
Whoa it's got to b tru, gotta let the light of Jesus' love come shining thru
(Chorus)
So yo
(Chorus)
It's got to b tru
(3 x)
I gotta let the light of Jesus' love come shining thru
(Chorus)

Prov. 13:20
I prayed a prayer for wisdom just like a farmer prays
for rain
'Cause I knew that I must have it to survive in this life
And I stared out In the distance 'cause it seemed so far away
And I waited for the lightning
But the lightning and the thunder never came
So I took a look beside me to my left and to my right
And saw people full of wisdom all around in my life
And it started to come clearer I began to understand
That my prayer was being answered, it's all part of Gods plan
CHORUS
If we walk with the wise we will grow wise.. wo .. wo
If we walk in the light then our path will be bright I know
There's someone who's already heen where we must go
In the light of what they've learned we find
That we will grow wise if we walk with the wise
I've learned to look for answers in those born before
my time
As I listen to them tell me what they've learned in their lives
I talk to friends with understanding much deeper than my own
And gain wisdom beyond measure I could never find alone
(Chorus)
BRIDGE
One life can be a candle with wisdom as its fire
And every life touches with its flame is set ablaze
(Chorus)

Matt. 25:37-40
Maria-she's too young to understand, but old enough to
feel the pain
Of living where no love can grow with no hope for change
Maria-her world is an angry place but she makes sure that scars don't show
And with every hurt her tender heart is growing cold (but)
CHORUS
Who, who's gonna love Maria
Who, who's gonna touch her with the tenderness she longs for
Like a desert longs for rain
She's got a hunger deep inside and with every tear she cries
She wonders if there's someone out there somewhere
Who's gonna love Maria
(Maria) she looks in the mirror now and the little girl
is gone
But still the search for someone's love goes on and on for Maria
But does anybody care or even notice her at all
Is anyone listening close enough to hear her call (and who)
CHORUS
Who, who's gonna love Maria
Who, who's gonna touch her with the tenderness she longs for
Like a desert longs for rain
She's got a hunger deep inside and with every tear she cries
She wonders if there's someone out there
BRIDGE
Maria if you can hear me, please know that you're not
forgotten
Somebody's trying to get to you
(Chorus 1)

Eph. 4:26; Prov. 18:21
There's a hole the size of a cruel word
In a wounded heart somewhere that's learning to hide the pain
There's a thorn stuck in the conscience of
Someone who spoke a word in anger
And they can't wash away the stain, sorry's such a hard word to say
CHORUS
But while it's still called today, won't somebody make
it right
Before the day slips into night and the moments waste away
While it is still called today, we've got to say the words
That are longing to be heard 'cause tomorrow may be too late
Go on and say what you need to say while it is still called today
There's a girl who's waiting day after day
To hear her daddy say "I love you," now the days have turned
to years
There's a wall that silence has turned to stone
Between a man and woman, she's holding back the tears
And he's holding on to his fears
(Chorus)
BRIDGE
'Cause there's is a time when the sun goes down
And the flowers are laid on the grave
Will the tears that fall to the ground
Be the tears of regret for the words someone didn't say
(Chorus)
Phil. 3:10; Matt. 25:34
This is my heart's cry
I want to know the one who saved me and gave me life
This is my heart's cry to be so close to Him that all my life becomes
A testimony of my Savior's grace and love
This is my heart's cry
This is my heart's cry
Much more than just a great desire-it's like a fire in me
I hear my heart cry each time I think about the cross where Jesus died
The cross should have been mine but His love broke through time
And heard my heart's cry-He heard my heart's cry
Now every other hope and dream is lost inside of this
one thing
To know the one who died for me and live my life for Jesus Christ
Is my heart's cry
(Instrumental)
So let me life become a testimony of my Savior's grace
and love
Oh-this is my heart's cry-to stand before the Father one day
And hear Him say well done-this is my heart's cry
